How to automatically disable download for all newly uploaded files in Jumpshare
Jumpshare allows you to automatically disable the download option for all your future uploaded files as well. When this setting is enabled, you and your team members’ file links will be shared without the ability to download the files.
To enable the global download disable feature, please follow these steps:
- Select Settings from the left navigation bar in Jumpshare web app.
- Go to General Settings section under your Workspace Settings.
- Scroll down to Download section and Select Disable Downloads.
- Save your changes.
However, once this automatic "disable download" option has been set for you and your team members, you can still enable the download option for specific files if needed from the Jumpshare file viewer. Here’s how you can do it:
- Navigate to the file you want to enable downloads for.
- In the file viewer, click on the More menu (three dots) on the top menu bar.
- Select the option to Enable Download for that specific file.
