How To Fix A Webcam Not Working On Windows

If your webcam isn't working in Jumpshare's Screen Recorder, try switching to the fallback camera option. Jumpshare supports two camera display libraries for recording, with the Native Windows API being the default.

Here's how to switch to the fallback option:

  1. Open Jumpshare by clicking the kangaroo icon in your system tray (bottom-right corner of your screen)
  2. In the Jumpshare window, click the Profile icon in the top right corner to open the Preferences window
  3. In Preferences, press and hold the Alt key and left-click on an empty area within the General tab. This will reveal additional options in the settings

  1. Under the Camera settings, select the Fallback Camera option
  2. Close the Preferences window and restart the screen recorder to apply the changes.
