Low Microphone Audio Levels During Recording in Windows
If you encounter low microphone audio levels while recording your screen with the Jumpshare Desktop app, even when your microphone volume is set to maximum, try the following solutions to improve audio quality:
Microphone Selection for Screen Recording
Before starting your screen recording, please ensure you have selected the correct microphone from the list. This will help ensure that your audio is captured clearly.
Adjust Microphone Volume:
- Go to Settings > System > Sound > Input.
- Select your microphone and increase the volume as needed.
Disable Audio Enhancements:
If the first step doesn’t resolve the issue, follow these steps:
- Open the Run window, paste the following command, and press Enter:
control.exe /name Microsoft.AudioDevicesAndSoundThemes
. - This will open the Audio Devices window. Go to the Recording tab, double-click your microphone device, then go to the Advanced tab.
- Uncheck the Enable Audio Enhancements option.
Hopefully, this will resolve the audio quality issue. If the issue persists, please email us at support@jumpshare.com 🙂
