Error during installation: 2502 and 2503


Sometimes, you might encounter 2502 or 2503 errors while installing Jumpshare. These errors are caused by issues with the MSI installation service on Windows.

During the installation or uninstallation of a program, files need to be written to a temporary folder. If Windows cannot write to this folder, you will encounter these errors.

To resolve this issue, please follow these steps:

  • Go to Local Disk (C:) and open the Windows folder.
  • Find the Temp folder and right-click on it.
  • Go to Properties > Security tab > Advanced.
  • Click on your Windows user and change the permission to Full control.
  • Click Apply.
  • If you receive warning messages, click Yes and continue.
  • Install Jumpshare again.
