How to fix poor output quality of my screen recording in Windows

The Jumpshare screen recorder utilizes Hardware Encoding when available. However, this feature may not function on some machines as expected, resulting in degraded display quality in screen recordings. If you happen to have this issue, we recommend disabling hardware encoding. Here are the steps to do so through preferences:

  1. Open app preferences by clicking the Jumpshare tray icon and then clicking the top right menu icon
  2. In the Preferences window, press the Alt key and left-click on an empty area in the General tab. This will reveal additional preferences.

  1. Locate the Use Hardware encoding option. Uncheck it to disable hardware encoding.

  1. Close the Screen Recorder and relaunch it.

Hopefully, this will resolve the recording quality issue. If the issue persists, please email us at support@jumpshare.com
