My recording failed to upload to Jumpshare, can I recover the lost file?

If you created a screen recording with the Jumpshare desktop app and it failed to upload to your Jumpshare library, it isn't lost forever. The recording is saved locally and can be recovered quite easily.

Here's how to recover recordings that fail to upload.

On Mac

  1. Click on the Jumpshare kangaroo icon in the menu bar.
  2. In the pop-up that appears, click your profile picture.
  3. Select the Show Failed Uploads option.

This will take you to a TempCache folder on your system where the failed upload has been stored. Locate the file, then simply drag it onto the Jumpshare icon in the menu bar to upload it to your library once again.

On Windows

If you're using Jumpshare on a Windows PC, any recordings that fail to upload will be saved to your Desktop. To upload the file to your Jumpshare library, simply drag and drop it over the kangaroo icon in the System Tray.
