Do I need to sign up to record my screen?

All you need to know about signing up for Jumpshare screen recording software.

Short answer, yes. To use our Jumpshare screen recording software and access its powerful video sharing features, you will need to create a free account. Don't worry, the signup process takes less than a minute.

1. To record your screen, video, and audio with Jumpshare, you will first need to download our dedicated desktop app or browser companion:
   • Jumpshare for Mac & Windows: Our full-featured desktop application.
   • Jumpshare Chrome Extension: A lightweight extension to capture your screen on the go.
   • Jumpshare Online Screen Recorder: Record your screen directly within your browser without installing anything.
2. Once installed, simply open the app to create or log into your account:
   • On Mac: Look for the Kangaroo icon in your top menu bar.
   • On Windows: Look for the Kangaroo icon in your system tray at the bottom-right of your screen.
   • On Chrome: Click the Jumpshare Kangaroo icon next to your address bar to get started.
3. Click the blue “Sign Up” link at the bottom of the app window. This will open a tab in your default web browser.
4. Fill in your details and verify your email. That’s it, you’ll be automatically logged into the desktop/Chrome app once you're done!
5. If your company uses SSO (SAML), you can sign up that way too  just make sure it’s enabled on your workspace.
6. If you want a one-click signup with an extra layer of security, you can use your Google, Apple, or Microsoft account.

2. Click the Sign Up button at the top-right corner.
3. Fill in your name, email, and password or use your Google, Apple, or Microsoft account for a one-click signup with added security.
